Cheer Information

If there is interest for Cheerleading parents in regards to the upcoming 2021-2022 basketball season we are open to coordinating and hosting a cheer league but we currently do not have a Cheer Director or Coaches. If this is something you want FCO to sponsor, please contact George Poole (FCO President) ASAP, [email protected] or (502-257-5373).

For ages 5 to 12 years old (age as of December 31st).
Practices can start in mid-December.
Our regular season basketball games will begin the second weekend of January and run until mid-March.
Games will be typically be played on Saturdays and an Sunday afternoons.
Our cheer teams are non-competitive and we focus on introducing kids to the fundamentals and skills needed for the sport of cheer.
It goes without saying that the girls are as cute as can be in our cheer uniforms.
There will be different levels of cheer taught, sideline cheers, half-time routines, and minor tumbling.

Cost = $150 for first year cheerleaders.
The uniform includes · Skirt, Shell, Bloomers, Socks, Hair Bow and Pom Poms.
